Josh Abbott has had one of the fastest rises to the A-list in Texas music history.  Since the beginning of his meteoric rise, Josh has been somewhat of a polarizing force for fans and musicians alike.  However you feel, Josh is firmly fixated at the top of the Texas music pecking order, and has no plans of ceding that position.  This week on The Co-Write, Josh sits down with the boys to discuss everything from where his musical journey began, to what launched his rise and how he continually tests the limits of his music both sonically and lyrically.  Josh's latest release, "Until My Voice Goes Out", debuted at #1 on the iTunes music chart, establishing him as a growing force nationally, and one of Texas' biggest acts.

The Co-Write is on the road!  This past weekend we headed southward for New Braunfels and River Road Ice House to talk with the artists playing Galleywinter's first River Jam.  Recently rebranded, River Jam is in it's 16th year as the marquee event of the year for the Gallywinter website, and managing editor of Galleywinter, Brad Beheler, gives us a brief history of this event right off the bat.  At (33:00), we had the pleasure of talking with Haley Cole.  This extremely talented singer/songwriter shares her story of moving to Nashville, and back to Texas, as well as what the future might hold.  Then at (53:30) Matt Boggs from Prophets & Outlaws takes a seat with the boys and fills us in on what is happening with them.
